Not worth the high price
Other than it has a considerably whiter light and is slightly brighter, I don't see the justification of the much higher price than a standard halogen bulb. It certainly can't compete with either any decent led or hid bulbs for longevity or brightness and there are plenty of other makes that produce standard halogen bulbs that match the output of these Philips ones at a lower price.

Not good. Quality is down from before
One of the bulb burnt out the very first day. The other one still works. Construction is flimsy. It all adds up to one thing, that Philips' quality control is down the drain. I haven't checked where they make these bulbs but it most likely isn't America. My bet is on either China or Mexico

Like other similar vacuums, they promise a lot more than what they deliver
This rechargeable pool vacuum is very similar to other products in this category. They all promise ease of use and good performance. However when you actually try, it's far from doing what the manufacturer promises. It does a much better job murking up your pool than removing such murk. Not that it doesn't have enough power, it's just not very well designed. The container and the filter in it is also very small, so after only a few minutes, it's already full and needs to be cleaned out. After going through my entire pool (a fairly large 15' x 30' above ground pool), the very next day when the water cleared, about half of the dust, pollen and other fine solids that were in it had returned to the bottom. I'm not sure about the reliability of it yet, but from my experience of other similar units I've used in the past, I'd be surprised if it lasts over a year with limited use. Almost all of the electronic pool equipment today made in China, which explains the quality and longevity issues with them. I just wish things like this were made in the U.S.A. or even in Japan or Europe, so they would be better and longer lasting.
