Easy upgrade

Bought these to upgrade some old crusty humbuckers in my old Law Suit LP replica. Installation was pretty easy. Only issue I had was that the instructions showed the input jack harness in reverse which gave me an awful squeal at high gain. Reversing that harness fixed the issue. The pickups themselves are a huge improvement over the old pickups. Cleans are clean, and high gain has so much more roar then I had before. Are they the best? Probably not. But are they good? 100%! In hindsight, I should have bought the package with the shorty pots, cuz apparently my LP replica doesn't have as much meat where the shafts go thru as a real Les Paul. Easy fixed the length issue, by installing nuts on the cavity side of the threaded shaft to shorten the exposed length. Lesson learned.

Good budget grip

Very grippy. Very comfortable. Non fatiguing, or blistering. Makes me not want to use an overgrip. Great grip on a budget.

Odyssey is guuuud

They are rims strips. They cover the spoke holes and keep your tube from getting sliced up. Not much to it. These Odyssey strips are of good quality...as is pretty much anything Odyssey. These happen to look good too. Wish we had clear tires and tubes so we could see the rim strips. Get rid of the worthless rubber strips and get some good ones. Your tubes will appreciate the extra protection on today's sharp rim holes and high tire pressures.
