Awesome starter set, killer deal on models
Awesome set for those just getting into 40k, or hobby vets who want to start a new army (Space Marines/Death Guard). Models are super detailed, the marines look awesome, and the death guard looks disgusting in the best way, lesions and open wounds galore! Pretty easy assembly. The book, dice, ruler, and card terrain are cute, but the book's missions and "campaign" are exactly as described, for starters. The rules are outdated but 8th and 9th are pretty similar so it'd still be a good start for anyone wanting to play 40k right away.

Awesome miniatures and a cool game
I got this mostly because of the miniatures for use in regular 9th edition 40k, but the actual boardgame itself is pretty fun for a small group of friends or by yourself.
The models are beautiful and dynamic, full of lots of character and details! They look amazing.
The rules are kind of clunky but it's standard GW rule writing. The narrative is where this delivers mostly, and the campaign is really fun and gripping.

Lots of detail for a great value!
Exactly as described in box. One plastic heavy destroyer model that can be built and equipped with two weapon choices, or magnetized if you're the experienced hobbyist. GW models are the benchmark for detail and these are no different. The models are full of character, there's quite a few extra bits left over when building that can be used for all sorts of kitbashing or basing! Great value compared to GW stores themselves.
