Depends on country of origin!
I ordered three lighted 50 ft power cords from two sources, all the exact same part number and labelling - Curiously, although from different vendors, both orders were fulfilled through Walmart! Here's the issue: One cord was made in China and the other two from a different vendor were made in Viet Nam. Same label, part number, etc. - identical packaging except country of origin. BUT the Chinese version was stiffer - much less flexible than the two made in Viet Nam. Checking the websites from which I ordered I couldn't find a 'country of origin' designation. I cannot recommend the Chinese version because it's far more 'kinky' when wound up and will not lay as flat as the Viet Nam versions - which I WOULD buy again.
All three cords have a subtle green light on the female end to assure you have power.

Very servicable unit
It's not commercial grade, but for a medium size office it's great and the price is fair. It arrived quickly with some damage to the box but no damage to the device because of Styrofoam.
The clamp feature is good and you need to get used to how much pressure to put on the paper without damaging the shipment. The lever must be firmly and fully depressed to get a complete cut, but that's not a problem once you get used to it.
It's a good idea to buy a small carpenter's triangle to assure the blocking bar is precisely perpendicular to the guide edge.

OK but need instructions for remote and special functions
Edited version: Bright, not heavy, but remote has buttons that are not sufficiently labeled, and the unit came with no instructions. I can figure out a few buttons on the remote but some are a mystery. Why no instructions? Can't find anything on YouTube for this model.
