Second Zamp helmet. Good enough to buy again.

My first road racing helmet was a Zamp, bought in 2008. It served me well for 9 seasons. Rules changes required a new helmet, so I went to ebay and was pleasantly surprised to find many SA rated helmets available for well under $200. I went with a Zamp full-face in a size M, because the helmet & size had worked well for me before. It was shipped quickly and looks like a good product. The fit is a little more snug than my old helmet, but I don't know if the helmet is really different, or if my old one had loosened up because the foam lining was a little worn from hundreds of hours wearing it. It's a great deal for the price, and I would not hesitate to buy again.

Hinges: Good value

Decent hinges for the money. Not as nicely stamped as the 40 year old US made hinges we're replacing, but dimensionally identical, with less rust & tarnish. I would buy again.
