Best for plastic filter housing not metal

If you have a plastic filter housing then I assume this will work perfectly. But always use the socket not the 3/8 as I wouldn’t trust that! If you have a metal filter housing it will still work (unless stupidly tight) but note the slots do not reach over the housing to slot into the ones on the filter housing. Only half the flutes (depth) contact the filter which thankfully was enough for me but I would have bought another type if I had known this before. I will try to cut off the slot section on my tool to have full contact with the flutes to have less chance of rounding the filter housing.

Don’t waste your time or money

I didn’t have high hopes for these I bought them as a test. And even though they were a couple of quid I wouldn’t bother with them. They probably work great for maybe two days a week tops then that’s it. They start to streak and even make noise. I tried cleaning them and still rubbish. Better off just buying a full wiper blade u’ll save money in the long run since they will last u like a year were as these last a week.

Not best for use on glass

I bought it to squeegee water in the wet room towards the drain which I’d prefer to du rather than mop it up. Not very good for glass tried it on the mirror to remove steam but was streaking and just not all that good but did eventually clear it all. But it works perfect for what I bought it for so am happy with it
