not standard JST
1 of 1 found this helpful The connectors are not standard JST-XH connectors, but of the manufacturers own design with the receiving connector using tinned rolled sheet for the pins instead of the standard JST square stock. This makes the pins less durable and I suspect these cables will not meet the insertion cycle requirements of original JST-XH connectors. They are also quite difficult to secure compared to standard JST so it is easy to believe they are secured, when they are in fact not seated correctly.
That said, since the wires are crimped directly to the rolled-sheet pins on the receiving side, these connectors should be less susceptible to wires coming unsecured, as is a problem with original JST-XH, since wires are typically either soldered or more often spot-welded then heat-shrunk. In that way, these connectors are superior.

rated power!
I ran the Makit brushless angle grinder with this and it worked just like the new XLT-star 2.0Ah Makita pack. I cracked it open and confirmed that it does included the newer balancing circuitry so that the first cell doesn't get depleted/dead over time. Great value !
