Battery only smoke detector

I thought it was just like the one that died recently. That was a plug in w/ battery backup. This works solely on a battery. I suspect it will do the trick but now I have to mount it to the wall. It is on top of the fireplace mantle for now.

Never having to say my battery Died

This is not the first eco-drive watch I have owned. It is the first that has a dial with numbers and a second hand though. It is comfortable and attractive and a lot easier to tell time with than my other 2 blank Citizen eco-drive watches. Occasionally I will need to "charge it"" in the winter when it is hidden under sweaters, but for the most part it keeps going without the need to buy a battery. I have several watches languishing in the drawer waiting for a new batteries that I will probably never get around to buying.

Solved my problem!

My Linx battery stopped charging and I was not sure if it was the charger or battery. The Linx was less than 2 years old and not used very often. This was an economical way of finding out which was the problem. It turned out to be the charger, a newer model than the one I received. Newer or not it failed and this one has my battery charging again. Now I also have a spare that works! The parts arrived really quickly and were very well packaged. I couldn't be more delighted.
