Here Come the Brides
3 of 3 found this helpful It was a great show and the DVD's bring it all back!! I will watch and rewatch it over and over. Well worth the money for a trip down memory lane.

it is accurate
This book was recommended to me because it talks alot about the way Russian culture was for Sergei and Ekaterina. That part of it is interesting. It is very hard to understand Ekaterina's chronology of events as she jumps from time and place quite often. I did not like that part.

Just one problem
The Engine Tilter did the job we needed very nicely EXCEPT that the knob that cranks the spiral mechanism is extremely cheap. It began to loosen almost immediately, and before we could lower the engine into the compartment it broke off completely. Had to use a pipe on the end to finish the job to crank and it was a pain because we could only go so far before something blocked the movement and then we had to adjust the pipe. We will hopefully not need to use it again to remove the engine, but would need to do a custom fix on it to make it work. Other than that, it worked well and held the engine with no problem.
