Baker's Dozen
Part of what I look for in a children's book is not only the story line, but the illustrations. I enjoy reading stories to my grandchildren and loved the illustrations of this book. I also decorate my kitchen in gingerbread so I am always interested in gingerbread stories. I liked this story to teach more about the principle in being generous and kind to others. It also can teach that we are happier when we think of others and do good to other people.
Another grandmother really enjoyed this book and recommended it to me and told me how good it was.

Peter and the Starcatchers by Ridley Pearson (2004)
I had one of the books-the second one and was looking for the first one. I didn't find it in the bookstores. I was very pleased to find it on line and it was in very good shape and at a better price than a regular bookstore. Thanks.
