I would easily recommend this camera to a friend.
I purchased this camera for my mom. She is elderly, so I wanted to get her a camera that was a touch screen because they are much easier to operate than fumbling with buttons. This camera takes great pictures and is a breeze to operate. My mom is not tech savy in any way, rather limited actually, and she operated it like nothing right out of the box. I showed her a few quick operations and that was it. This camera is just what she needed. This would be a good camera for anyone. I would like to note that this camera did stop working after about two weeks of operation, but was promptly replaced under warranty. Stuff like this happens from time to time so I did not hold that against the camera. Nice camera, excellent pictures, super easy and intuitive to operate.
