H P 45 & 78 " Expired Install Date " Inkjet Cartridges
Note:
I had not purchased the warranty expired Ink Cartridges before, but recent experience has given me some quick insight in respect to these over-age cartridges. ------Not to the Refill Kits of which I'm not familiar.
It seems to appear that even with 2 or 3 years of time since the Install-by date......the Black 45 Cartridges, can still give good service.
But, the HP 78 Color may be different. I just bought two HP-78's with 2006 Install-by dates.....They were DRIED OUT for both the BLUE and YELLOW Colors.....The RED worked fine on both. They were both JUNK for serious use.
Buyers should be aware that HP for whatever reason, apparently has not really tried to "seal" their ink cartridges. Only a thin seal strip, sits over the print head....their is no sealing package, no sealed sack only an "Open to the air", Cardboard Container.
I think the HP packaging gives the impression that HP wants their cartridges to DRY OUT soon after their Install-By Date. If you compare the way Re-manufactured cartridges are packaged by many outlets to the way HP packages their product, HP appears to be much less caring about preservation.
The HP product is good and expensive, but appears to be packaged so it will not last long in storage. For what HP charges for their Ink Cartridges, it would seem that the Ink could be better protected from Drying Out. They need a packaging system, made with an eye to preserving the integrity of their product.
The packaging I've experienced, appear to be designed to increase sales by making their "stocked" products, become worthless quicker than desirable.

This "WAS" the best Mole Trap I've used ! Unfortunately,This is no longer true.....!!!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful This Trap is solidly built. Originally a strong spring was utilized which made the trap capable of traveling through respectable soil tension and making a good solid catch. This was when the manufacturer installed, the -- (heavier in weight and power)-- 3/4 inch diameter spring. I have a number of these --- and they work great.
B U T ------- the manufacturer in 2019/20, decided to Change the STRENGTH of this trap. The previously STRONG spring has been reduced from 3/4 inch diameter to 1/2 inch. Now the Spring tension can be depressed with your hands----. In August I purchased 5 of these and discovered their weakness and returned them. I then contacted the manufacturer contact, and asked about the reduced strength spring. It seems they decided that some people's complained about the trap being hard to set --(It's actually easy, if you use the tools provided )--, so they REDUCED the Power of the Spring. But, they also greatly reduced the ability of the Trap to travel through the dirt and catch anything..... "Not Smart!!!!!"
BUYERS NOTE: If you want the STRONG VERSION of this trap ---- ASK the Seller to MAKE SURE you get the older 3/4 inch diameter spring ! Also: the "trip plate" attachment to the cross bar can eventually fall off through use. A tap-weld on the edges of the "plate" will keep it together.

DISCS appear to be of LOW QUALITY.
3 of 3 found this helpful For such a wonderful series, this Set while neatly packaged, proved to be a disaster. Little picture jumps occassionaly started to occcur. Then metallic buzzes followed by picture hesitation and full blown freeze eventually made the watching experience disgusting. These problems often continued and intensifed. I SHOULD DEFINATELY HAVE PAID MORE ATTENTION TO THE ONE REVIEW THAT DID SAY THIS SET IS OF LOW QUALITY....IT IS !!! Parts of the Set did play fine, but FOUR of the fifteen discs had major problems. The Season 1 Bonus material had problems followed by Season TWO playing acceptably. Then the Season THREE -- Disc 1, was very bad for Episodes 2 and 3. Leading up to SEASON FOUR, which was a Major Disaster, with BOTH DISC 1 and 2 (involving Episodes 2,3,4,6,7,8 being really messed up. The way the Discs appeared to play, I would expect different buyers to have likely experienced these problems on Different Discs and Episodes. Some lucky buyers may have received totally working sets.
This said, a general weakness appears "at least in my set", in the quality of these discs. This weakness may manifest itself with some difference, even on replays. The metallic "Buzz-Zaps" became a continual growl in Season 4. Also, after on-and-off hesitations to the picture, the entire discs would just freeze without any advancement. My Season FOUR, Episodes 3 & 4 ---Could-Not even be opened. The Discs themselves appeared clean, well packaged and without any scratches or other mars. They just appear to be of low quality. Playing on another DVD Player DID NOT correct the problems.
