Nice bearings, but grease was dried out.
This seems like a nice set, but with the age, the grease has dried out. Clean out the old and put in some new, things were OK.

Solid build, but awkward to use
Nice and solid build quality. On my car (Mazdaspeed 3) I had to use the built in calibration feature and retard the calibration settings until it matched my GPS and speedo. Funny that it came out of the box reading too fast (maybe the company didn't want to be liable for any speeding tickets). It has an auto dimming feature which works well.
In the end I threw it away. The rubber pad that is supposed to hold it to the dash worked, but the unit itself just sits on top of that. Any bumps from your hands or tugs on the bulky cable move it. Nice concept, just not worth the aggravation.
