Does Fantastic Embroidery!
1 of 3 found this helpful I have owned my Spirit for about 3 years and LOVE it! I had always owned combination embroidery/sewing machines before so had to give some thought on whether to get another combo machine or embroidery only. But even with my combo machines, I rarely switched them over for general sewing because I always had a separate straight sewing machine, too. Now, that is a luxury, I know. But probably a lot of stitchers have the same set-up. While I have an embroidery running, I can be sewing something on the other machine. And I do that a lot. So with that in mind, I decided the Spirit would be just fine for me. It does a beautiful job of embroidery, accommodates the larger hoop, and I would have had to spend thousands more to get a combo machine with the long throat and the embroidery quality of the Spirit. The downside is that it is big, heavy, and not something you would probably want to travel with. So if you want to take it with you or only want one machine, get a combo. But if you have a sewing machine and want to do embroidery, too, the Babylock Spirit does a wonderful job and it is a good value.

Light and Easy to Carry with Plenty of blow power
I wanted to pick up a battery operated leaf blower to grab and use when I don’t want to mess with starting my heavier gas blower. Have an EGO mower and like it, so decided to go with an EGO blower. Didn’t want the weight of the bigger blower, so ordered this refurbished one. It has plenty of blow power for cleaning up leaves and grass clippings, blowing out the garage, etc. And it is not heavy; so lady or kid friendly to use. The price is good and it comes with an extended 2-year warranty, so how can you lose? It is just what I wanted. Very happy and it is EGO quality.

Well-Built, Full of Features, and Sews Nice!
6 of 6 found this helpful The Pfaff 4.0 is packed with features and settings that enhance sewing for quilters, home sewing, garments, or whatever the project. Solid, heavy, and well-built. Needle position settings, presser foot up and down, light raise for pivoting. 222 built-in utility, decorative, and alphabet stitches for all of your creative endeavors. This machine is probably not for beginners because it may be a little overwhelming, but for the experienced quilter or home sewer, it offers lots of settings. The IDT feed system is great. It keeps the material moving through smoothly. Stitches are straight and accurate. The knee-lifter works wonderfully for hands-free control of the presser foot. Love the pivot for turning corners. And, of course, free arm as well. I am not a quilter so cannot comment on free-motion stitching. Comes with 10 snap on presser feet for a variety of tasks, and a snap-on electronic assist button-hole attachment, which makes fool-proof button holes. There is not a lot not to like about this machine. Everything is up-front in the way of controls and on-screen to show stitches, set length and width, needle up, needle down, presser foot up, presser foot down, tie-off stitches, reverse, cut, and much more. I believe it is a machine that an experienced sewer would not grow out of any time soon. Would definitely recommend!
