Worth the extra expence.
Good strong battery, it is expensive but last a lot longer than a normal cheaper battery.

50-50 Rotary or foil!
I have used electric shavers for years but always a Philips and wanted a change to see if a foil gives a better shave than a rotary head. They don't give a close shave like a new razor does but they both do a good job and after using the Braun for a while I have found it cuts better in some places than the Philips, but then the Philips cuts better in other areas. If I could mix the two it would be perfect. I have found that on the stubborn areas if you have to keep going over the same area it does not irritate my skin like the Philips does, but that could of been down to the old blades, time will tell!
