It’s not ready to install, parts missing
I bought this as it clearly states in the add that would fit a Kawasaki Versys. It doesn’t. You need extra parts to attach the steel arm to the handlebars, and these parts are NOT provided with the item.
Also, there’s absolutely NO instructions on how to install it.

Works fine, but understand it’s different from the factory offer
This indicator works fine, installation is SUPER easy.
But you need to understand clearly what you’re buying, since it works a little different from the factory offer (which is a lot more expensive).
The unit connects to the engine diagnostics port, under the seat, and will indicate the gear you are in when this gear is WORKING, meaning when the gear is actually turning. So when you are in neutral and put in 1st gear the unit will NOT show the correct information until you release the clutch and the motorcycle starts moving (meaning the gear is actually working). Same will happen with all other gears, only when you release the clutch the correct information will appear.
Having that clear I believe it’s a good buy, specially for the price (about 1/8 of the factory unit - although the factory one works immediately when the gear is engaged, not only after clutch release).
