The Other Bible

I have had a copy of The Other Bible for a number of years and have enjoyed it immensely. Since my teens, I have been searching for truth. I did not consider the Bible to be a an adequate source of religious inspiration. After all, it has spawn many wars and been the cause many a deciever's point. Having matured considerably since then I am better able to assimilate it properly. After reading the Gnostic writings contained in the Other Bible, I have discovered how much Gnosticism the Bible actually contains. Throughout my adult life I have read many books on other religious texts, the Bhagavad Gita, Theosophy, and perhaps some fringe material as well. What I have found is that all of them contain the same essential message: love you fellow man, act in a beneficial manner, and be open to all things. Where the Other Bible comes in at, it the idea of getting as close to the source as possible. The Gnostic writings of the Nag Hamadi library got my attention as soon as I read them. In fact, being a minister within Spiritualism I am allowed to teach from a variety of sources and this is one of my favorites. The Gospel of Philip, to be precise. It is very prolific in its messages. It supports those writings already in the Bible and expands on them while presenting others. Often I find myself recommending this book to others when they question me about it. The essence to Gnosticism is knowledge and wisdom, this book contains just that. The copy I purchased was for another minister. If you seek knowledge about Jesus, Christ, God, or how it took hold, this is the book to buy. You may also want to buy some post-it notes, my copy is filled with them.

Excellent tire

These tires grip the road much better than the ones they replace. The difference was so pronounced, it took me awhile to adjust. They handle well on wet roads and slide less on those cracks filled with tar. Most likely will buy these again when its time to replace them.
