Ammo-Jammo

That's the nickname we gave this gun. It carries a ton of ammo, but it is easily susceptible to jamming. The rotating magazine holder can get stuck where it doesn't cycle using the handle and can also become misaligned if you bump or rest it against anything. I upgraded it to 8 of the 12 round magazines. So, it may not jam with the standard 6 round magazines, but then what's the point? Over all it's still fun, but the jamming is annoying.

First Impression

Like the title says, this is a first impression. I have put less than a thousand miles on this truck so far, but I am very impressed. I had an earlier model 4Runner before this one and it was still running like a champ when I sold it at 285K miles. So far it seems like I am getting all the rock solid craftsmanship and build quality of that truck with even better performance, comfort and features.

Over The Top

This is a fun toy, but it is way over the top. The magazine and loading mechanism is much more complicated than most of the other Nerf guns and it is gigantic. We also have the Mega Cyclone Blaster which shoots similarly and holds the same number of darts, but it is much smaller and easier to load and use.
