    Idle issues

    After several months of misery changing out two different fan clutches and flirting with excessive coolant temperatures this kit solved my overheating issues. The truck runs ten degrees cooler around town and on the highway, and when pulling my loaded trailer it never gets above 210 on long steep hills in Az. It only took 90 minutes to install start to finish with two people. If you are looking for a real solution to high coolant temps caused by an electric fan clutch not working correctly this kit is the answer. With temperatures in the 105-115* range the truck runs cooler than it ever has, even with a loaded trailer going up 6% grades the temp never gets above 210*. Money well spent to cure high operating temperatures.
