Audi A6 C7 Rubber Boot Liner

The liner is tailor made to fit the boot of an Audi A6 C7 Saloon model after 2011 and completely covers the inside of the boot with a lip all round to prevent spillage of any liquids into the actual boot area. The surface of the liner is made up from raised circles of rubber with a mat finished surface to give in an Anti Slip properties. The Anti slip surface was not very effective. There are 4 areas where the mat covers the tie down loops on the boot floor and if you need to use these this area can be cut out to have access to the loops to use fastenings to hold items in place on the liner. However if this is done the liquid retention of the liner is compromised to some extent as the top of the loop covers only comes half way up the height of the liner lip. A good quality product.

Code Scanner that worked on Audi A6 saloon 2005

I had a issue with the CD player in the glove box of my Audi A6, the kids had managed to get 2 discs in it. To remove the CD player it was necessary to remove the Glove box. All went well and the CD player was back to normal and glove box re-fitted. However as I removed the electrical wiring from the Glove Box to work on it in the house the Air Bag was disconnected on the passenger side. This gave the Air Bag warning light on the dash. Using the VAG Scanner 305 and following the instruction plugged it into the port and it came to life. I followed the procedure for accessing the codes and had 2 for the engine, 17057 & 17055, both to do with the Glow Plugs and 4 for the SRS, (supplemental restraint system) 02752,01228, 02095, 00532 these were all for the Passenger air bag. I looked up the error codes on Google and easily found out what they were. I used the error erase procedure in the manual on the SRS codes and the dash light was reset to off. I found the unit easy to use and the manual straight forward and easily understood. There is a listing of codes in the manual which is not fully comprehensive but it I found the "Ross-Tech" web site gave good information when I Googled an error code. 24V Vax HK-AE-240A015 PSU part replacement power supply

Excellent replacement for the VAX GATOR PET 18V

I have tested this power supply for use with the VAX Gator Pet 18V and it works well. The one provided by VAX does not have the power to provided sufficient current when the VAX is discharged so it burns out . This replacement unit easily provides enough current for a discharged state as well as trickle charges at 150ma. The only small issues is the need for a DC plug adaptor to bring the connector to the right size. All in all a very good replacement.
