Poorly made
The version I received was poorly made. It was cheap plastic and I found it very hard to get the camera card to fit into the slots. It's low cost so I ended up not using it so I can't rate whether the data transfers fast.

2 out of the 3 cables worked
2 of 2 found this helpful 2 out of the 3 cables work, but 1 is defective. The defective cable plugs into phone and gives the illusion of a charge (the icon changes), but the phone does not actually charge. Tested this with multiple outlets and phones. The 2 other cables worked as expected.
The braided material seems more sturdy than OEM cables you'd buy from Apple. Likely would not buy these again given one was defective. Still a good value for 2 working cables.

Just as good as the factory hose
This hose has been great. It's just as good as the factory hose for a fraction of the cost. The factory hose breaks at least once every 18 months so finding a more economical replacement is comforting.
