Gaming on a budget

I got two of these for my nephews last year, they've been serving them very well. If put some upgrades, such as maxing them out at 8gb DDR2 800, and gt430 video cards which were stupid cheap at the time. One had upgraded to the gt 1030 which goes perfect, Witcher 2 hits 60fps, which is impressive for a 10 year old PC. One nephew uses his to game online all the time, the other plays single player games and indies,b which these PCs do beautifully. If you're rocking a potato laptop, one of these can surprisingly make a substantial upgrade. Just add more RAM and a decent video card and kabam. You've got yourself a decent gaming rig that'll get you by. Even more so if your into indies. I'd recommend it, would make a nice gift for someone without a PC but wish they had one. 👍

Pretty good for an older CPU. Could handle Win8 easily.

Even though this is an older chip, It works pretty well for an older gaming rig. Definitely an upgrade from the Pentium D That came stock, Doesn't stress nearly as easy as that one did. If you have an older socket 775 Asus p5lp-le board that was given to you and you want to give it a purpose, This will work great. WEI Gave it a 6.1 rating. Not bad.
