Good replacement part

My almost-new case had a buckle that broke at the hinge so I bought this as a replacement. It fits perfectly and is solid built product. The unique color allows me to differentiate it from another GoPro when I am using two cameras. Because of the material used, it is slightly heavier than the original plastic buckle.

Works well and compact.

Works well for my application which is remote video camera placement for live streaming. Video and audio come through clearly. The PoE from a single end means I don't need to have power supplies on both ends which is very helpful. The units are compact and easy to carry in the field. Metal construction is rugged enough to leave on the ground without worrying about damage. The equalizing switches on the receiving unit take some getting used to in order to fine tune the pair to the cable length. Since my application uses various cable lengths, I am needing to adjust these switches for different run lengths probably more than someone who has a fixed cable run. There are other products out there that probably do not require adjustments.

Well made case

This case is well made. I end up using only the bottom of the case mostly which protects most of the camera during normal use and I put the camera in one of my bags to carry around. The full case does offer excellent protection for the camera with its kit lens (without lens hood). This type of case does not work well if you need access to the ports on the side of the camera or want to be able to change batteries or SD card without removing the camera from the case.
