Great little portable Router

I use MikroTik for everything in my network and this little router is my "do-all" hardware. It's designed to connect to a WAN and provide WiFi access to clients. I also have configured this the other way around - connect it to an ethernet and use it's WiFi to connect to a WAN. It's perfect as a WiFi extender. Add a hub and you this can handle many hosts. Obviously the hardware is minimal but it runs the full RouterOS and can be configured as any other MikroTik router. I bought several for my network!

Great Laptop SSD

I know the consumer Intel SSDs use "established" hardware and sell for more than similar consumer SSDs, but I choose Intel over others because I have yet to see one fail and in real-world tests they are stable, low-power reliable performers. In my laptop the most life I could get out of a full charge was 12 hours. the Intel 540 gives me 18 hours! Great work, Intel. I am a fan for life.

I've never seen a bad Gigabyte MB

I love Gigabyte MBs! I had one fail (and it was replaced under warranty) but otherwise they are solid performers. The D3H has 6 SATA 3 ports and a TPM header. It supports fast RAM and all the good FM2+ AMD processors. Formfactor is perfect (no overblown ATX) and I love the TWO fan headers. Grest price, too!!
