nice looking item, but didn't really deliver for me

it is very slow to warm or heat up even at level 6. I am not sure if its the way they all work or it was only this one. And then it only heats up to very low temperatures. My missus gave it back to me after an hour stating she didn't think it was working.. After experiences with the electric blankets over the years, I think this was too slow and with very low temperatures even at maximum level of 6. I felt a hot water bottle was miles better than this item.
