Perfect for travel
Considering the Kala branded alternative is double, or sometimes triple the price of this thing it's well and truly value for money. It takes a little bit to get a hang of the rubber strings but I think it's also improved my fingering technique on its full sized counterpart. Plugged into an amp with the levels properly adjusted it has a sound kind of similar to a double bass which is pretty amazing, otherwise it can be played acoustically and unplugged and still sound pretty good which is great for portability. I highly recommend the CUB400 for anyone who wants to get a hold of a U-bass but doesn't have the budget for a Kala.

Excellent
As a tradie I need to be able to walk into a room and get a job done without scratching around through tool boxes for the right screw, plug, cap or fitting and this does the job perfectly. The removable tubs are super convenient too.
