Molded glass tank. The filter assembly performance can be improved by adding the Bio media bag for the Fluval Spec filter. It will fit nicely behind the discharge side of the activated charcoal filter before it reaches the bio foam. Tank looks awesome due to the molded corners. Suprisingly, the corners are free of optical distortion when viewing the fish. If you want to add live plants you'll need to upgrade the light. Light that comes with is a little dim. The blue led only position is nice touch however and the betta seems to enjoy it. It's nice having a small foot print tank with a 16" depth. Makes an awesome betta tank if you adjust the pump flow to minimum.

Make your guppies happy!

I haven't tried it personally but My Guppies seem to like it very much. I my flamingo Guppy really likes it!. It's similar in pellet size the micro pellets Hikari sells. Definitely recommend if you have fancy guppies....my tetras seem to like it as well. -Bill
