Cat urine leaks out from in between the layers
This box was much smaller than I thought it would be. The main issue I have with it is that my cat pees high up on the back wall and there isn't a good seal between the top and bottoms layers. I found out too late that cat pee was leaking out of the back of the box and onto my wood floor. The bottom tray has notches in it instead of flat back surface which makes it very difficult to scoop out dirty litter in the nooks and crannies. And once the scoop gets dirty, dirty litter gets gunked up in the notches where you can store the scoop in the top of the box.
