the 5.5 mm jack 12 v works with almost all security camera and security camera dvr systems
It would be nice to see a split cables with 8 or 16 5.5mm jacks for sale as well as most security systems ship with barley qualified power supply often shortening the cameras life span. this 6amp supply also helps prevent security system shorts caused by tampering and cable ware.
my system had a non built in spliter so i could just plug this in and go.
