If something is to be made, make it properly. Don't make junk

I bought this product to help me pull panels of 150kg weight (330lb). On first use, I wound in the panel a short distance, when the load stopped moving. Close examination showed that the cable was not anchored at all on the spool, so the cable was stationary on the spool as I rotated it. This was a big problem for the operation I was doing. I did a partial fix by unwinding all of the cable and putting a knot in it (very difficult). I also cut my fingers on the rough, jagged edges of the spool rim - sharp metal unfinished from cutting On the second occasion, doing the same operation the ratched mechanism broke, meaning I had to grab a scrap of wood to jam the handle from unwinding, so I could rescue the situation. All very stressful and all very disappointing. Given the materials for this unit are sound it is tragic that the energy and materials will end up in the bin of many of its users after brief use. A massive waste of resources.
