My review of the 91st. Civil Affairs Bn. C.A.P.O.C. insignia
Upon receipt of this patch I found it to be great quality and workmanship including then pigtail finish. The coloring and construction was the same seen in T.I.O.H. reference. I noticed this patch has a ribbed finish which separates the four colors on the field of this patch.
I have purchased many patches from D254 in the past because of the quality of their patches, the price and fast delivery purchase.

Great patch that I have seen in several patch books.
This patch is well made, the colors and design used in this patch matches photograph I have seen several patch books.

My very positive review of my new book, World War II made, flly machine-embroidered cut-edge. shoulder sleeve insignia
1 of 1 found this helpful I have a large military patch collection,(16.000 ), with many variations. While collecting I saw many types of stitching and different backs, different sizes to the the same patch. Often I have featured the back of these patches knowing they were authentic.
Other then see an explanation on eBay or from another collector and yes in other book dedicated to patch collecting.. I have found that this book, World War II U.S.made fully machine-embroidered, cut-edge, shoulder sleeve insignia is the book I have relative to these questions. I found the explanation was clear and often accompanied with color photographs, After reading some of explanations I was able to place a notation beneath many of the patches in my collection. This book also gave some history about the unit and why some of those patches were changed, see Chapter 9 relative to the 45th Infantry Division patches..
I highly recommend this book to those who collect patches/insignias based on the many things I learned about my hobby.
