Great bit of kit
I used these ties to turn a single skin to a double skin building. It is possible to use them as a wall starter and as wall ties. One tip is to dry lay a block where you want the tie to go and mark around 13mm above it. Remove the block and drill where you have marked. This will allow a 10mm mortar bed, the block and the tie should then sit smack in the middle of the next 10mm mortar bed. Same rules if you're using as a starter. Will definitely use these again.

No Less Than Expected
3 of 3 found this helpful After many years of daily service, my old dewalt impact driver finally gave up. I didn't think it possible to improve on the old one but boy I was wrong! The three speed function is a great feature and the torque is immense for an 18v. I used my mates makita one while waiting for the delivery of the new unit and it was useless compared to this. If you're in the trade and haven't invested in the dewalt platform then I strongly recommend you do!
