Treat your ears to this, they're worth it !!!

I have always enjoyed the Shadows music. I was born in 1961 when the Shad's were already massive. My CD collection contains a fair few of the band but nothing compares to this release. I can honestly say it is nothing short of brilliant and to hear them playing live, in my view it is by far the best I have ever heard the guys perform. I have always said that to measure how good a band is you have to hear and see them live. The Shad's did not just pass this test, they smashed it. I also have the DVD of this concert and it is one of my most treasured possessions. To see them together again an obviously enjoying it so much and (sorry guys) they are knockin on a bit, they played with such enthusiasm and skill and sounded amazing. Hank is and always has been a guitarist in his own league. The sounds he can get out of a guitar, be it the Fender strat, acoustic or any other he pick's up, in my view eclipses all others. Bruce is a superb rhythym guitarist playing as good as ever and the two coupled with the brilliance of Mr Brian Bennett on the drums, makes for a superb set up. But it doesn't stop there. Throw into the mix Mr Cliff Hall, an amazing composer , jazz pianist and keyboard wizard, add Mr Mark Rivers. composer, ranger and performing fantastic on bass guitar and even doing the Shad's movement's, it amounts to musical HEAVEN. Last word on this is enhance your collection, get the DVD and the CD. Then enjoy at home and in the car. LAST WORD TO THE BAND, IT MIGHT SOUND SELFISH BUT PLEASE GET BACK ON THE ROAD FOR ANOTHER TOUR, YOUR FAN'S ain't had enough. A1*****
