Great laptop alternative!
3 of 3 found this helpful This is like a mini PC that I can carry in my purse! I love everything about it (except it will not play movies from Google Play offline like a phone or tablet). However everything else is great! I can read and edit Word or PPT or Excel documents. I can even use a MOUSE! Just make sure you let it update (the factory default config requires like 100 updates, which took like 12 hours). Couldn't be happier!

BEST VALUE KIT OUT THERE - YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY!
1 of 1 found this helpful I have worked with over a dozen different desktop printers, and this one is by far the best value! Very easy assembly (took me about 6 hours while watching a few movies), the wiring is not too crazy (ok, it is a little crazy - the wire routing that is - no soldering FTW!!), and the software is just fine (of course, you can always use other software). Also, this one has an SD card slot! For $300 you cannot find something with this big a build volume, heated bed, and an SD card slot. I highly recommend this to anyone familiar with 3D printers!
If you are not familiar with 3D printers, you will need to a bit of research on bed leveling, z-axis limit switch positioning, and filament and other settings in the software. Basically, you will need a friend or a resource to help you tune the thing into a working configuration. From my experience though I wouldn't be surprised though if the instructions will be updated soon for that too!
