A glorious rock n' roll rabbit hole
This is a tremendous collection of otherwise unknowns that opens doors to an alternate world many people are unaware of. This is a rabbit hole to beget other wonderful rabbit holes.
First and foremost, the songs are great and presented in excellent sound quality. How they were able achieve such a consistently great sound quality despite such a variety of sources is a testament to the skilled quality control of the project.
Furthermore, the book and liner notes are above and beyond, and they tell a wonderful story with great pictures of the bands and handbills; this compilation belongs in every rock collection and is certainly one of the crown jewels in my own.

Geat music, great sound
The music is excellent, and this is the pressing to get! It is detail and dynamic and a tremendous example of what vinyl has to offer. The sound on the 2024 repress, however, is an abomination.
