Vortex Scope Mount for Extra Clearance
I was mounting a Vortex Razor HD Gen II 4.5-27x56 EBR-2C scope on a Ruger Precision Rifle and the Picatinny rail extends the length of the hand guard, which caused an interference fit between the 56mm scope objective and the Picatinny rail when using a "high" scope mount. This "extra high" scope mount was approximately 1/4" taller, which resolved the interference fit issue while maintaining the quality of the Vortex Precision Matched scope rings. I would recommend these rings to anyone who needs the extra clearance for a scope with a 56mm objective and a 34mm tube.
