Intel Core i7-3632QM 2.20GHz SR0V0 Processor Socket G2 Quad Core Laptop CPU

Perfect replacement for i5 when more performance is required

I replaced an i5-3320 with this i7-3632 in a Dell Lattitude E6430. No software configuration was needed, it just booted up like nothing had changed, except that it is now noticeably snappier. It benches roughly the same on single core, about 33% faster for quad-core, and about 80% faster for multi-core. Graphics performance is the same. Because it's the same 35 watts as the old processor, it doesn't run any hotter, and I have not detected any difference on battery. It's most noticeable when running a virtual machine. I'm very pleased with it.
