Great for switching mics around on various manufacturers equipment
I'm using this jack with a 2 pin Collins/Heathkit plug on the other end of a 12" cable. This way I can have all of my Collins & Drake mics with .206" male connector on the end of those mic cables and then when I want to use that mic on my Collins KWS-1, Collins 32V-2 or Heathkit SB-101 I simply plug this short cord and connectors onto the plug on that mic and I am in business!!
