The item was as described (new, open box) however it was not operational. I contacted the seller and he immediately made good on the item by issuing a refund. Two fold transaction: inoperable item but fast and positive corrective action by the seller. I would gladly do business with him again.

Amazing seller. There was a network outage that caused us both issues with the items being shipped and they immediately responded to my message and went out of their way to update me on what was going on and show proof of item being shipped. Item came in perfect. 10/10 seller!

NEW RC4WD Scrambler Offroad 1.0 Scale Tires Z-T0146
Feb 02, 2017
A monster of a micro tire!
I got the ball rolling on these being made, Rc4wd is awesome for listening to it's customers. Even though the micro crawler community is a rather small niche group in the rc world, Rc4wd heard our call!
Taller than MiniQlo Miclaws but not as wide. The new compound is excellent, super soft & sticky, makes them feel much thinner than previous offerings, maybe they are? The tread pattern is directional, to me it's sorta a blend of the Rok Lox, MT Baja Claws and a little Maxxis Trepador thrown in there.
The spacing on the lugs is a very good aspect to these I feel, it's good to let rock edges be able to catch in there and it helps a lot in allowing tire deformation and conforming to the terrain. I feel like the sidewall lugs could have a little more available real estate coming off there for them to hook up, they taper off too soon and could be a little longer.
This tire is supper tall and soft so it will most likely require some amount of foam left in to keep from folding over in off camber or side hilling scenarios. These scale out to a 50" tire on a 1/20 build for those interested in such info, so choose these wisely, they aren't for stock Trail Trekkers or smaller scale builds at all.
You will also need a decent offset in your wheels if you still want to be able to turn your rig without eating your wheel wells and front bumper.
I haven't gotten the chance to run these yet but I am experienced with micro crawler tires and I run them often on real terrain, I think this tire will do quite well on rock and in dirt and certainly has the size to deal with deeper mud, maybe just not the tread pattern for it. All in all, I have some mixed feelings on these so far but can't wait to put them to the test on a suitable rig, so that I can say definitively how they match up.
