Good product
Makes machete sharpening much easier. Really fits my hand well and feels secure. The finger guard area is a very good size (makes me feel safer when sharpening). The photo is me sharpening a two hand ("custom" cedar....lol) 22" tramotina from smoky mountain knife works. If you don't use a machete frequently and have the wrist strength...get a two handed model. Tramotina is the ONLY brand to get. If it doesn't "sing" when you ping it...don't buy it. This was my RULE for 45 years. That being said Cold Steel makes an incredible beast of a two handed model that is my current fav (giant flat nosed model...you could cut down a redwood)....
Anyway, this sharpener appears to be very well made item. I actually clamp the blade in a vice and use two hands. It is light weight so you could take it with you on a long day of trail building.
