2006 Toyota Tundra
3 of 3 found this helpful I wanted a strong truck but, not necessary "full size". Reason is the largest trucks are difficult to maneuver and hard to park. They also don't handle very well.
The TUNDRA is heavy enough to pull my trailer ( 5000 lbs ) and the V8 engine is amazingly powerful. Gas mileage is 16 in town and 18 on a trip. Not fantastic but acceptable. The double wishbone suspension makes the handling very secure. Reliablity has been great so far ( as expected in a TOYOTA ).
Braking is amazing ( electronic brake assist is wonderful ).
All the features are very good too: FM, cassette, CD changer, keyless entry, lights and foglights are very powerful, comfortable seats, storage spots and cup holders everywhere.
4 X 4 on the fly is great too
That truck is the perfect size for me. It is very quiet and comfortable.
