I purchased this receiver to replace one I bought new in 2004 that quit working. I was so satisfied with the original that I bought another used. It doesn't have any HDMI ports like newer models, but I am able to connect all my devices without needing them. After replacing my non-working unit with the used unit I purchased, I was able to revive the old unit with a simple cleaning with compressed air. Now I have 2 working units. The amp puts out big power, and since it's THX certified, it's built like a tank and extremely heavy.
