Woodburners Delight!
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this to split odd difficult-to-chop logs in my woodpile. This arrived semi-assembled and was easy to complete via the good instruction manual which highlights safe usage. Operation is easy however the operator has to build up confidence as some logs split with explosive force. Longer logs are successfully contained by the curved arms when split but shorter splits can escape under the arms-use not advised near windows, greenhouses, children or pets!. Build quality is good and the finish is excellent. I now use it in preference to my axe!
I would certainly recommend this item for those with woodburners.

Good value item.
For the price it is a worthwhile purchase.
I had to trim it to size to fit my strimmer though!
