OFNA heavy duty starter box.
Although it comes in kit form, which means all the parts are in those little plastic bags, it really isn't hard to put together. The success of this is organizing the parts and the hardware. Once this is done the exploded view drawing allows one to pick an area and begin. There really is no wrong sequence in doing this assembly although working from the right side spring switch to the left side battery holder is preferable.
Once assembled the car locating pin and guides can be adjusted to the frame allowing it to be centered over the starter motor. Best results for this are obtained by removal of the nitro engine from the vehicle and placing the wheel in line with the flywheel position. Most importantly the centerlines of the starter motor and nitro engine must be offset in the torque rotation direction of the engine to allow the proper seating of the starter wheel to the flywheel. Improperly done the wheel will push the car upward and prematurely wear the wheel out, rather than pull it in giving solid contact. All in all this box is a good value for the money and has what it takes to get out of the pit, and into the action.

I couldn't help but build several ARF kits just to hang in my barn to give me incentive to learn to fly RC. I then bought this one for the actual "training" part of the process, and for kicks added lights. This plane is easy to fly and will take the mishaps that will happen, and is easily fixable, and upgradeable. Even in moderate winds it will still handle nicely, but remember keep it at half throttle or it will flip back with the wind if you are needing to head into it. Great flyer and easily tossed in any cars back seat.
