Cool Threesome
Bought both the Trio albums and love them. Great harmonies, and a lot of nice surprises. Have always enjoyed Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris, and their partnership with Dolly Parton creates some wonderful and memorable melodies.

Terrific body of work
For anyone who ever loved listening to The Byrds, Gene Clark is a monumental presence as a singer/songwriter. As the first member of the group to strike out on a path of his own, his solo work and collaboration with other performers created a wonderful body of work over the course of many years. "American Dreamer" provides an excellent snapshot of some of his best music from the mid-sixties into the mid-seventies - 24 cuts in all. Many of his albums, including this one, are out of print and difficult to find, but well worth the search. This particular album is just a start. Listen to it and you will want to hear more.
