Bad SD class 10 memory card

I tried to use it in my dji drone camera. It would start recording then shut off. Message said it needed to be formated. The drone app would not format it. I tried to formate it with my computer. Message said the card could not be formated. I have written it off as a loss. I purchased a Sandisk SD memory card from a local Best Buy store and it works fine.
