When I saw the covers on these Spongebob Annuals I knew I needed them...one is a throwback to the great Marvel annuals circa 1966 and the other a classic SF pulp style cover. Several light, breezy, fun Spongebob stories in each annual, the first one featuring parodies of lots of old DC super-heroes, specifically Aquaman and Aqualad. If you like your comics more funny than serious...you don't even have to care one way or the other about Spongebob...these are for you!

Adventure On the High Seas With E.C.
I had to get an original of this classic EC due to that glorious Krigstein hot sun cover! This is one EC original that is still affordable. EC gave you more story content for your money in one 7 page story than you get in an entire story arc covering several issues in way too many modern comic books! Plus you get the glorious artwork of Graham Ingels and Jack Davis and George Evans and Reed Crandall. You can't go wrong with an original EC!

Ka-Zar stalks the dangerous streets of NYC
Gil Kane takes a shot at drawing Ka-Zar in an entertaining adventure as Ka-Zar and Zabu roam the streets of New York City at night confronting drug pushers and drug users. Quite entertaining with some pretty hard hitting dialogue by Mike Friedrich. Early appearance by SHIELD agent Bobbi Morse, a friend of Ka-Zar's. One of the stronger issues of Ka-Zar, especially considering he's not dealing with any super-villains here, just drug dealers. Nice Kane cover and pretty strong Kane/ Sutton art throughout.
