better than non backlit for many reasons
1 of 1 found this helpful 1st: Keys are more responsive than non-backlit models. These keys push your fingers up as you press and allow much higher typing speed response. It just feels right. No more looking for errors after high WPM entries.
2nd: It's backlit, allowing low light keyfinding very easy and brings this sleek laptop together with modern style.
3rd: Very cheap, effective, easy to install upgrade that you will never regret. A backlit keyboard makes all the difference in typical interface and overall style. Worth every penny.

Durable, Fast Enough for most Users, Lives up to the DROID Brand Name
WOW!!! What a solid and durable, Feature Packed device. 3g speeds are great for the average user. Keyboard is acceptable for all ages and Guess what! it Includes DLNA support FROM THE BOX!!! WOW. Just simply Wow!
