About as quiet as you can get at this price point.
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm sick of loud exhaust fans. Like, everyone knows when someone is stinking up the bathroom! I had my upstairs bathroom remodeled and used a more expensive version of this one for that. However, my existing fans in my other bathrooms had smaller ducts so I had to get a couple of fans that were compatible with the four inch ducts. This is slightly more noisy with slightly less power than the nice one. The noise level is very satisfactory, especially compared to the crappy one that was there before. It can be heard, but just barely at the lower level, and can't be heard outside the bathroom on the higher level.
The mounting hardware might be OK if your existing duct is facing the right way, but it was not for both of mine. I just cut a small length of wood and put it on each side of the hole and attached it to the back side of the sheetrock with sheetrock screws, then mounted the fan with more sheetrock screws. There, that did it. What can't you do with WD40, duct tape, a piece of wood, and sheetrock screws? Ha!
In short, very quiet and not that hard to mount if you're fairly handy! Oh, and it has an adapter in the package for 3" duct if that's what you have.

Good Part
I had to repair a friend's laptop with stripped screws holes in the hinge base and this one had good solid brass embedded in the plastic. The engineering is faulty in allowing such a flimsy hinge mount but I digress. This should last a couple more years!

GOOD DEAL!
2 of 2 found this helpful This is the sweet spot for current video cards! Even more so used! The bit mining market had died so all those folks that drove up the cost of video cards by making computers with 12 video cards are now selling all their cards. What this means for us middle-market users is that the used price is half the new price. What a deal! How can you refuse!
