Ought this to add to my GR-55 guitar synth and the sounds are AMAZING. I have a lot of experience with modules, for the money, it's a no brainer

One of the great " Hidden Treasures" In guitardom
Samick was one of the great Korean manufacturers that made some of the greatest imports ever. For other Brands. (Disclaimer: EVERYBODY makes inexpensive " only $129 with amp" guitars for the Christmas market. They are uniformly.... budget oriented. We are NOT talking about that type of guitar). Washburn, Ibanez, Epiphone, Sigma by Martin, everybody had guitars made in Korea some of which became legends for their price- performance ratio. In the case of samick SO legendary the company launched its own line using people like Gregg Bennett and Valley Arts " to produce high quality Original designs. At one time they were the largest Guitar Factory in the World. just saw YouTube of Younger Carlos Santana, Jeff Beck and Toto Alumni & Studio Legend Steve Lukather performing live. Carlos was still switching to his Yamaha for most songs, Lukather more than held his own against these legends on his Valley Arts Custom. While it at first glance appears to be a standard S knockoff, it takes a classic design up a level super slim kneel with an ample extended Cutaway makes the guitar delightfully playable. I don't know what more you could ask out of 3 single coils side by side with my MIJ 57 reissue and a MIM stock they were full and rich without sacrificing bite. The bridge was perfectly calibrated to lose just a touch of the shrillness that always has me replacing that pickup on every 3 S I've owned. Hunt these things down, if your guitar is a tool and not a status symbol. You won't find a better buy. Some setup, calibrate the trem, I'll take it to any gig in town. ( note these ARE single coils metal/high gain guys may want to ( 1 ) get a noise gate in front of gain stages, (b) replace bridge w/ any of the affordable stacked humbuckers made by Seymour or Dimarzio. Which one simply depends on how versatile a guitar you want. But if you blow the gig, it's NOT because you didn't have a well built, responsive guitar.

A good product BUT
1 of 1 found this helpful READ the description. I fits MIM CLASSIC ( 50’s 60’s) not Standards. Fortunately I have an appropriate body. Other than that, well made, official Fender part. No complaints
